  1. Transmitting Unit - (In vehicle unit)
    1. This is a transmitting / receiving Black Box
    2. This box will be mounted in a convenient place inside the Vehicle.
    3. This black box will have GPS receiver, GSM device and a custom made controller.
    4. This unit receives the location details (latitude and longitude) from the GPS satellites continuously.
    5. This unit transmits the location details to the base station server continuously from the base station operator in the form of (GPRS) through the GSM mobile operator. This box will also have alert indicators to the base station for Over speeding, Zone breaching etc.,

  2. Tracer Soft - Tracking software
    1. This is a Web based database application
    2. This is a menu driven Online GUI application
    3. This application helps the base station operator to manage the entire fleet through various features
    4. This server collects information from vehicle and updates.
    5. This application is used to display the information received from the transmitting unit
